CONLEIGH GILMORE

Conleigh Gilmore’s career in skin runs deep. As a Fitzpatrick skin type 1, Conleigh has perfected the art of a natural tan while bringing her clients luxury solutions, flawless results, and touting the use and reapplication of SPF daily.

Conleigh was first certified as a Spray Tan Artist by celebrity artist Veronique Munro in 2011, but her career in skin was in the making long before. Her favorite thing to play as a child was makeup, and her first job was in a beauty boutique. Conleigh’s first certification was to be followed by many others, including body contouring, makeup, and a Bachelor’s Degree in communications. 

After graduating from Troy University in 2016, Conleigh took a job in marketing, while also working part-time as a makeup artist for Jane Iredale Cosmetics. For the next two years, Conleigh traveled the tri-state area visiting many medical spas and plastic surgeons’ offices. Realizing that she belonged to the aesthetics industry, she began the journey toward her dream career in October of 2019 by founding a sunless tanning service: Upgrades by Conleigh. 

Soon after, she began studying to become a licensed esthetician at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. During this training, she was granted an internship at Lawson Aesthetics and Med Spa in Montgomery. Conleigh worked by day and built her business by night, and by 2021 she’d added two members to the Upgrades team. It was with the help of these interns, Georgia and Miranda, that Iconic Upgrades was born in March of 2022, and the vision she’d once dreamt of was brought to life.

MEET KAYLA

Originally from the Florida Panhandle, Kayla Abercrombie knows the importance of a good tan. Her love of people, building relationships, and go-getter spirit led her to Troy University where she obtained a Communications degree in 2016. After signing up for a monthly membership with Conleigh and seeing her once a week for nearly 2 years, she knew the business Conleigh created was something she had to be a part of. After training under Conleigh, she officially joined the Iconic Upgrades team with a goal of helping women feel beautiful in their own skin in the safest way possible. She believes a good tan is great, but the confidence that comes along with it is priceless. If you are in the Pike County or Barbour County area, Kayla is ready to serve you and help you truly feel like the Queen you already are.

MEET GEORGIA

Georgia Adams is a licensed esthetician and graduate of the Lurleen B. Wallace Community College esthetics program. She has always had a passion for makeup, starting 5 years ago on clients and still loving doing so. Her passion for makeup started to blossom into a passion for all things beauty when she realized her real passion was making others feel beautiful. Georgia started spray tanning in June 2021 and has sprayed hundreds of clients since. She loves to meet new people and catch up with familiar ones, while doing a job she loves. Her favorite part of her job is how satisfying every single thing is, from tanning to makeup to facials and skincare. 

MEET CHARLOTTE

A web developer by trade and an avid crafter, Charlotte never expected to be a part of the beauty world; but when the opportunity presented itself to work for a longtime friend making people feel fabulous, she jumped at the chance. Charlotte met Conleigh in 2016, and their years of friendship have taught Charlotte everything she knows about skincare: apricot scrub is bad, sunscreen is important, and nothing beats a good spray tan! When she's not bronzing babes in the Birmingham area, you can find her making weird art, building websites, or hanging out with her husband and their brood of animals.

MEET KALEY

Kaley is a wife, soon-to-be mama, and a registered nurse. She has always been a girly girl who loves all things beauty and has recently found a passion in spray tanning after seeing the confident boost and just how beautiful being bronzed can help make someone feel!! We are all beautiful inside and out, but believes if something helps us feel more confident then hey, let’s do it!

MEET MIRANDA

Miranda is an esthetics graduate from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. She is a licensed esthetician, spray tan tech, and lash artist. She has a passion for helping others feel their best. She always looks forward to pampering and getting to know her beautiful clients!
