Iconic Upgrades began its metamorphosis in October 2019 with a business license, a small loan, and a spray tanning machine named Tanya. Upgrades by Con, a completely-mobile sunless tanning and makeup artistry service, grew an army of bronzed babes all over Troy, AL. Just as Upgrades was set to add esthetic services to its repertoire, business came to a screeching halt. The government-mandated shutdown in 2020 forced Conleigh to pivot her focus to product sales, so she turned to the ‘gram. The business survived with the support of the community she found there, and by 2021 Upgrades was thriving.The team grew, services were added, and the Upgrades by Con became Iconic Upgrades in 2021. What started as Tanya and a makeup case blossomed into a team of 6 spray tan techs, servicing Troy, Montgomery, and Birmingham. And that’s after just 3 years. Next goal on the horizon is an Iconic brand of tanning products! You’ll have to wait and see about the others .Empowering women since 2019.
